Today, MATFLIX – video streaming from maternity experts – launches ahead of the London Maternity and Midwifery Festival 2020 taking place in Earls Court. It brings digital video boxsets to midwives, midwifery students, and all healthcare professionals with an interest in maternity care.
Powered by video presentations made at events organised by the Maternity & Midwifery Forum and its network of maternity specialists and leading midwives, MATFLIX is your gateway to expert maternity knowledge. The boxset curator is Dr Jenny Hall who, alongside being a maternity educator, is a former editor of the Practicing Midwife.
MATFLIX can be used by midwives, midwifery students, doulas, obstetrician, gynaecologist, matrons, community health visitors and other healthcare professionals to:
-
show current employers or future interview panels the continuing professional development undertaken,
-
make revalidation easy, and
-
aid university study, independent project work, and researchers engaging in the latest thinking.
The MATFLIX service kicks off with eight boxsets – with many more planned for the coming weeks and months.
